Abstract

Background and Objective: The formation of human behavior and beliefs is rooted in the totality of experiences an individual accumulates throughout life. This process remains progressive until adulthood, passing through critical stages before personality becomes firmly established. Considering the Quranic concept of growth and the foundations of the Quranic growth system, this article examines the influence of parental actions on shaping children's behaviors. It demonstrates how the tayyib (wholesome) acts of parents can be internalized in a child's mind, fostering healthy and balanced conduct. Drawing upon the Quranic discourse structure, the fi’l (action) component was selected among the constituent elements of speech to formulate an educational model.

Methods: This qualitative research employed, in its first phase, description, analysis, and inference, along with a thorough review of sources within the Quranic growth system, to extract indicators of growth and developmental deficits related to the fi’l component in the learning process. In the second phase, these indicators were reviewed and validated using the Elite Panel method—a structured framework for collecting and confirming qualitative data from experts in specific fields, which helps reduce ambiguities in complex issues. In the present study, all ethical considerations were observed, and the authors reported no conflicts of interest.

Results: The study extracted indicators of child growth and developmental deficits concerning the fi’l component and proposed a three‑stage educational model. The first stage involves foundational modeling, aimed at forming initial mental representations of tayyib acts. The second stage is structuralizing Independence, facilitating the transformation of internalized patterns into spontaneous behaviors. The third stage entails systematic internalization to solidify an internal value system and self‑regulatory behaviors.

Conclusion: Studying the fi’l component based on the Quranic discourse structure functions not merely as a linguistic tool but as an educational and pedagogical element. Ultimately, it can serve as a basis for proposing a model to foster healthy child development, thereby helping to prevent the widespread occurrence of developmental deficiencies.
