About the Journal
The Journal of Medical History of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences Medical Ethics and Law Research Center has a scientific research rank from the Commission of Medical Sciences Journals (http://journalportal.research.ac.ir/) and is published quarterly.
Aims & Scope
This Journal is an electronic journal in Persian with an open-access English abstract that publishes articles in the fields of medical history, dental history, pharmaceutical history, traditional medicine, medical sociology, and other related topics.
The purpose of the Journal of Medical History is to introduce great scientists and sages and their innovations in the field of medicine, to introduce valuable works of ancient medicine and medicine, to introduce important medical currents, and to revive the written medical heritage to recognize the medical history of the great Iranian-Islamic civilization.

Archiving policy
The long-term protection service (s) currently available in this journal are PKP PN.
All documents and copies of articles are kept for 6 months after the publication of the article and then destroyed.
