Abstract

رعايت موازین اخلاقي در پژوهش‌هايي كه آزمودني‌هاي آن‌ها را كودكان تشكيل می‌دهند؛ بسيار مهم است. این آزمودني‌ها به دليل عدم امكان ابراز رضايت قانوني و عدم آگاهي از پيامدهاي جسماني و رواني ناشي از شركت در چنين پژوهش‌هايي، آسيب‌پذيرند. برخي اوقات اين موضوع پژوهشگران را از تحقيق بر روي اين آزمودني‌ها باز می‌دارد. با وجوداين، ارتقای بهداشت و سلامتي جامعه كودكان و تعادل بين اين ملاحظات، محققين را به قبول اجراي پژوهش‌هايي كه حداقل خطر را دارد، سوق می‌دهد. اين فرآيند در صورت تحقق موارد ذيل تضمين می‌گردد: بررسي طرح تحقيق پيشنهادي از سوي يك كميته تحقيقاتي بي‌طرف، خلق جنبه علمي تحقيق از سوي محقق و اجازه آگاهانه از سوي والدين و قيم.
