Abstract
زمينه و هدف: قرآن كريم به عنوان مهمترين ركن معارف اسلامي عليرغم اينكه قانون اساسي دين اسلام بوده و كمتر وارد جزئيات شده است طي چند آيه مسأله شير مادر را مطرح فرموده است. در اين مقاله سعي شده كه فوائد شير مادر از جنبه طب پيشگيري مورد بحث قرار گيرد.
مواد و روشها: با مراجعه به منابع و بانكهاي اطلاعاتي مختلف همانند Ovid, Cochran, Medline كليه مقالات چاپ شده در دسترس در رابطه با اثرات شير مادر در پيشگيري از بيماريها مورد بررسي قرارگرفت.
نتايج: در مقالات گوناگون شير مادر از زواياي مختلف اعم از تركيب شير در طي زمانها و شرايط مختلف، ميزان ترشّح با توجه به نيازهاي كودك، تأثیر طول مدت شيردهي بر آينده كودك و مادر و همچنين اثرات آن بر بيماريهاي عفوني و غيرعفوني و مسائل مختلف ديگر مورد تحقيق واقع شد كه در مجموع ميتوان آنها را در دو دسته كلي تأثیر شير مادر بر كودك وتأثیر آن بر مادر تقسيمبندي كرد كه در تمامي مقالات بر تأثیرات مثبت شير مادر اشاره گرديده است.
نتيجهگيري: شير مادر غذاي كامل، بيرقيب و مناسب براي تمامي كودكان در شرايط مختلف و روش پيشگيري مناسبي براي شايعترين بيماريهاي واگير منجر به مرگ در كودكي و بيماريهاي غيرواگير منجر به مرگ در بزرگسالي ميباشد.
