پیش بینی کننده های جمعیت شناختی سواد سلامت در سالمندان : یک مطالعه همبستگی

چکیده
زمینه و هدف: سالمندان به عنوان یکی از مهم ترین گروه های در معرض خطر بیماری، جهت داشتن سطح بالای سلامت نیازمند دارا بودن سطح بالایی از سواد سلامت می باشند. این مطالعه با هدف تعیین پیش بینی کننده های سواد سلامت در سالمندان مراجعه کننده به مراکز بهداشتی-درمانی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی شهید بهشتی انجام گردید.
روش و مواد: در این مطالعه توصیفی-تحلیلی، تعداد 270 سالمند روش نمونه گیری تصادفی خوشه ای، از مراکز بهداشتی تحت پوشش دانشگاه علوم پزشکی شهید بهشتی تهران انتخاب و مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. برای جمع آوری داده ها از فرم کوتاه پرسشنامه استاندارد S-TOHFLA، جهت سنجش سواد سلامت استفاده شد. داده ها به کمک نرم افزار SPSS-16 و آزمون های آماری t مستقل، ANOVA و همبستگی کندال و رگرسیون چندگانه مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت.
یافته ها: میانگین (انحراف معیار) سن سالمندان شرکت کننده (6/5) 67 سال بود. سواد سلامت در سالمندان دارای تحصیلات دانشگاهی با میانگین (انحراف معیار) (7) 2/28 و گروه سنی 65-60 با میانگین ( انحراف معیار) (9/4) 6/32 به طور معنا داری بیشتر از سایر گروه ها بود (001/0>P). همچنین قوی ترین پیش بینی کننده سواد سلامت، تحصیلات می باشد، به طوری که با افزایش سطح تحصیلات، 4/0 واحد سواد سلامت فرد افزایش می یابد. همچنین متغیرهای تحصیلات، سن، وضعیت اقتصادی و شغل 45 درصد از سواد سلامت را پیش بینی می کنند.
نتیجه گیری: مطالعه نشان داد که نمره سواد سلامت با افزایش سن، جنس زن، تحصیلات پایین تر سالمند، تحصیلات پایین تر همسر، افراد غیر شاغل و وضعیت اقتصادی ضعیف کاهش می یابد. سطح تحصیلات قوی ترین پیش بینی کننده سواد سلامت بود.
