"Plagiarism" in any form is considered a serious violation of publication ethics and is unacceptable. The scientific and research journal of "Behdasht dar Arseh, i.e., Health in the Field" takes action against copying or plagiarism in any form.

Plagiarism occurs when substantial parts of a manuscript or article are copied from previously published sources. Plagiarism also includes copying the ideas, processes, results, or words of others—or even of the author's own previously published work—without citing the original source (and, when necessary, without obtaining prior permission).

Manuscripts that are identified as plagiarized during the initial review stages will be definitively rejected and will not be considered for publication in the journal. In such cases, the Editor-in-Chief will notify the corresponding author accordingly.

If minor plagiarism is detected in the manuscript text (e.g., a few sentences without citation), the corresponding author will be notified in writing and asked to rectify the issue.

If a manuscript is identified as plagiarized after publication, the matter will be reviewed by the journal's Editorial Advisory Committee, and the corresponding author will be asked in writing to provide an explanation. If plagiarism is confirmed, in addition to retracting the article, the matter will be formally reported in writing to the highest authority at the affiliated institutions of all authors.

All manuscripts submitted to the scientific and research journal of "Behdasht dar Arseh, i.e., Health in the Field" are screened using standard similarity-checking tools to verify their originality prior to entering the peer-review process and before publication.

The aforementioned measures are carried out in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

It should also be noted that "data fabrication," "image manipulation," and "simultaneous submission of a manuscript" to multiple journals are also considered scientific misconduct.
