Synthesizing the Ethical Indicators of Reciting the Holy Quran to Students Based on the Educational History of the Imams of Athar (AS)

Abstract
Background and Aim: Teaching the Holy Quran to students is one of the important goals in the education system of the country. One of the important goals of teaching the Quran is to pay attention to the ethics and moral education of learners; on the other hand, teaching the Holy Quran based on ethics is one of the important fields in education. The educational history of Imams (AS) is known as a comprehensive model in the teaching of the Holy Quran, which is full of educational and moral teachings. Therefore, the current research was carried out with the aim of identifying the moral indicators of teaching recitation of the Holy Quran based on the perspective of the Imams of Athar (PBUH).
Methods: This research is qualitative and the method of research is synthesis. The research community is all the articles (374 articles) that have been presented in specialized and scientific databases from 2008 to 2023 about ethics in the teaching of the Holy Quran based on the biography of Imams Athar (AS). The sample of the research is 18 articles, which were selected based on thematic monitoring, theoretical saturation of data and purposefully. The research data were collected from the qualitative analysis of the studied documents.
Ethical Considerations: In writing the article, ethical aspects including preserving the authenticity of the texts, honesty and trustworthiness have been observed.
Results: By analyzing the data, the moral indicators in the teaching of the Holy Quran in 4 dimensions, 11 factors and 56 categories including the emotional dimension in the teaching of the Holy Quran (emotional competence, jihadi spirit, Oswah and central model); Cognitive ethical dimension in the teaching of the Holy Quran (thematic knowledge and educational knowledge), ethical attitude dimension in the teaching of the Holy Quran (manners, commitment and responsibility, purposefulness and programmatic attitude) and the ethical dimension of skills (Practice and perseverance, central interaction, application of Quranic learning) was organized.
Conclusion: The results showed that the components and moral indicators of teaching the Holy Quran based on the educational history of Imams (AS) include skill, writing and emotional aspects in addition to specialized dimensions.
