Typology of Care Strategies for Risky and Immoral Behaviors According to the Socioeconomic Status of the Family (The Study of Tabriz City)

Abstract
Background and Aim: Anger and rage (violence), alcohol consumption, untimely sexual relations and such behaviors are unethical and risky behaviors that harm the individual and others. Some teenagers are tending or even experiencing such unethical behaviors, but parents adopt care strategies based on moral principles and with innate responsibility to prevent these behaviors from occurring; Triple care strategies (inefficient, impulsive and procedural) are family-based interventions that are used by the family. Families have differences in socio-economic status according to their societies; the aim of the research is the typology of care strategies based on socio-economic status in order to prepare for the acquisition of more effective care strategies.
Methods: This research is quantitative and descriptive-correlation type. The statistical population included all the families of Tabriz city, 384 families were selected by multi-stage cluster method. In order to collect information, two measurement tools were used (checklist of strategies for taking care of high-risk behaviors and questionnaire of socio-economic status of the family). One-way analysis of variance (F) and linear regression were used to investigate the relationships between variables.
Ethical Considerations: By informing the respondents about the research process and after ensuring their full satisfaction, the answers were done in compliance with the principle of confidentiality.
Results: The findings show that the average strategies for taking care of risky and unethical behaviors are significantly different based on the socio-economic status of the family. Higher socio-economic classes choose better care strategies than lower classes.
Conclusion: According to the findings of the research, families with medium and low socio-economic status use ineffective care strategies; In order to correct this situation, it is necessary to make decisions to implement cultural-educational intervention policies to improve family care strategies.
