Abstract
Background and Aim: Observance of ethical principles and preservation of moral values is one of the issues that are paid more attention in educational organizations. The current research was conducted with the aim of identifying and explaining the factors affecting ethical leadership in educational organizations and providing a model using a qualitative meta-composite approach.
Methods: The current research was conducted in the framework of a qualitative approach and using the meta-combination method with the seven-step approach of Sandelowski and Barroso (2007). The statistical population under study includes all Persian and English researches and studies published in the field of ethical leadership between 1380 and 1401. In this regard, the keyword "Ethical leadership" were searched and the obtained articles and documents were examined using the purposeful sampling method and according to the acceptance criteria, and finally 34 articles that were of the criteria those included in the study were analyzed using the three-stage coding method (open, central, selective) by MaxQDA 2020 software.
Ethical Considerations: In the current research, the ethical aspects of library study, including the authenticity of texts, honesty and trustworthiness, have been observed.
Results: Based on the results of data analysis, 190 open codes were identified for data collection, which were categorized into 3 main categories and 16 subcategories. The results showed that three individual factors (personality, moral behavior, belief, motivation and moral character, spirituality, moral awareness), organizational (leadership styles, management styles, organizational culture, ethical decision-making, organizational atmosphere, organizational perspective, Management behavior) and environment (family education, moral environment, social culture) has an effect on the creation of ethical leadership in educational organizations.
Conclusion: According to the findings of the research, it is suggested that educational managers, by adorning themselves with ethical ornaments, should pay attention to ethical considerations in addition to managerial considerations and try to establish an ethical leadership style.
