Abstract
The purpose of this research was to explain the structural equation model of family stability based on social cognition and love with the mediation of communication skills. This research was a correlational survey (explanation of the structural equation model). Multi-stage cluster random sampling was chosen. The data collection tool included a researcher-made questionnaire of family stability, social cognition and communication skills, and Sternberg's Love Questionnaire. SPSS26 and AMOS23 software were used to analyze the data. Correlation findings showed that social cognition, communication skills, respectively and love have a positive and significant correlation with family stability. Also, social cognition and love have a positive and significant correlation with communication skills. The data of the model also showed that the CFI and NFI indices in the model are equal to 0.999 and 995 respectively. are 0. which indicate the acceptable fit of the model. RMSEA, whose value is equal to 0.077, and a value less than 0.08 means a good fit. GFI is also equal to 0.996, which indicates a good fit. As a result, it can be concluded from all the indicators that the research model has a good fit.
