Investigating the Effect of Ethical Leadership on Innovation Performance with the Mediating Role of Human Capital and Social Capital (Case Study: Iran Insurance Employees in Tehran)

Abstract
Background and Aim: Among the new leadership theories that have solved the weaknesses and problems of traditional leadership approaches, is the ethical leadership that emphasizes on providing appropriate behavior as a norm in personal actions, interpersonal relationships and persuading followers. The current research was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of ethical leadership on innovation performance with the mediating role of human capital and social capital.
Methods: The current research is practical in terms of purpose and survey based in terms of implementation. In order to collect data, Olah and Jamil (2020) questionnaire is used. Total reliability is 0.900. The statistical population of the current research will include Iran insurance employees in Tehran, whose number is 450. With the help of Cochran's formula, the sample size of 207 people was estimated and simple random sampling method was chosen for research sampling.
Ethical Considerations: The participants completed the questionnaires knowing the objectives of the research.
Results: In order to test the hypotheses, structural equation method, partial least squares analysis test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov test were used. Finally, data analysis was done using Smart PLS 4 software, and the data analysis indicates the significance and confirmation of the hypotheses.
Conclusion: The results of the research indicate that ethical leadership has a significant effect on the performance of innovation with the mediating role of human capital and social capital and therefore it is necessary for managers to try to gain sufficient knowledge of employees so that they can at the right time use their abilities. The correct use of human resources makes it successful, which will lead to the success of the entire work unit.
