The Bioethics Journal, as a privately operated scholarly journal, charges authors in accordance with the decision of the Journal’s Policy Council in order to cover part of the costs associated with manuscript assessment, peer review, plagiarism screening, reference correction, language editing, typesetting, and indexing.
Following the initial assessment of the manuscript by the Editorial Board and the assignment of reviewers, continuation of the review process is subject to payment of IRR 25,000,000 (2,500,000 Tomans).
If the manuscript is accepted, an additional fee of IRR 45,000,000 (4,500,000 Tomans) will be charged prior to issuance of the acceptance certificate and completion of the final preparation and indexing process.
If, based on the evaluations of the reviewers and the Editorial Board, the manuscript is considered to be an original, outstanding, and pioneering research contribution within its subject area, the second-stage fee may be waived or reduced, depending on the scientific and formal quality of the manuscript.
