The Solutions of Islamic Teachings in Creating Occupational Safety

Abstract
Background and Aim: Occupational safety and health hold significant importance in human resource management, particularly within the workplace. In an era marked by globalization and modernization, safety and security are essential for the efficient operation of any business. They function as dynamic and endogenous components within the work environment, ultimately contributing to increased profitability for employers. Beyond material gain, the teachings of Islam approach occupational safety and health from a distinct perspective. A thorough examination of Islamic sources reveals cognitive foundations and principles that underscore safety and health in the workplace. Accordingly, this article seeks to explore the strategies embedded within Islamic teachings for fostering occupational safety.
Methods: This research is theoretical. The methodology employed is descriptive-analytical, and data collection has been conducted through library research. By consulting documents, books, and scholarly articles, the study examines the mechanisms of religious teachings in promoting occupational safety and health as one of the key issues in human resource management.
Ethical Considerations: In this article, the authenticity of the texts, honesty and trustworthiness have been observed.
Results: The findings of the research show that the teachings of Islam, with a moral and transcendental view, have provided cognitive foundations such as human dignity, the hereafter, justice-oriented, the right to life, brotherhood and mercy and kindness for occupational safety, which requires the employer's attention to safety and It exposes the job security of the employees.
Conclusion: Among the solutions of Islamic teachings in creating occupational safety are: manageable workload, prevention of possible risks, educational programs for awareness of safety and health, compliance with government regulations, evaluation and cooperation of workers.
