The Language Editor is responsible for maintaining the strict confidentiality of all manuscripts submitted to the journal until their official publication. Submitted manuscripts are considered confidential documents and must be handled in accordance with the journal’s confidentiality policies and publication ethics standards.
Accordingly, the Language Editor must not upload the full manuscript, or substantial portions of it, to any artificial intelligence platform, software application, or external service that processes, stores, or transmits content outside the journal’s approved and secure infrastructure. The use of AI-assisted tools must not compromise the confidentiality of the manuscript, disclose unpublished scientific content, reveal author information, or expose any other confidential data.
Compliance with this policy is mandatory to protect authors’ intellectual property rights, preserve the integrity of the editorial and peer-review process, and ensure adherence to accepted standards of scholarly publishing ethics.
