The Journal Designer is responsible for maintaining the strict confidentiality of all manuscripts submitted to the journal until their official publication. Submitted manuscripts are considered confidential documents and must be handled in accordance with the journal’s confidentiality policies and publication ethics standards.
Accordingly, the Journal Designer must not upload the full manuscript, or substantial portions of it, to any artificial intelligence platform, software application, or external service for automated layout design, typesetting, graphic design, visual formatting, or any related production tasks. Such actions may result in the disclosure of unpublished scholarly content and constitute a breach of manuscript confidentiality.
Where the use of AI-assisted tools is deemed necessary for technical or graphical purposes, the Journal Designer must ensure that the full manuscript, author-identifying information, and any other confidential content are not submitted to such systems. Appropriate measures must be taken at all times to safeguard the confidentiality and security of unpublished materials.
Compliance with this policy is mandatory to protect authors’ intellectual property rights, preserve the confidentiality of manuscripts prior to publication, and uphold accepted standards of professional and ethical scholarly publishing.
