سابقه موميایی در ایران؛ماهیت، منشاء و کاربرد آن

چکیده
زمینه و هدف: مومیا نوعی ماده معدنی است که از دیرباز در ایران کاربرد دارویی داشت و بیشتر در درمان شکستگی استخوانها و زخمها به کار میرفت. درباره کاربردهای درمانی آن در پزشکی نوین پژوهشهایی انجام شده، ولی درباره نامگذاری، جنس و ترکیب، منشاء، معادن، تجارت، باورهای عامیانه و نیز کاربرد درمانی تاریخی مومیا پژوهشی انجام نشده است. این پژوهش تلاش دارد به همه این موارد در یک روند تاریخی بپردازد تا ماهیت این ماده روشن و ابهامات در مورد آن رفع شود.
مواد و روشها: اين پژوهش با روش توصيفي تحلیلی به بررسي همه جنبههای مومیا در ایران پرداخته و در آن علاوه بر منابع کتابخانهای، آخرین مقالات و نتایج آزمایشهای علمی جدید نیز بررسی شده است.
یافتهها: يافتهها نشان ميدهد مومیا یک نام ایرانی است و مومیایی ایرانی نیز از مرغوبیت زیادی برخوردار و در دورههایی جزو محصولات صادراتی ایران بود. بیشتر معادن آن در ناحیه جنوبی ایران بهویژه فارس قرار داشت. این ماده کالایی بسیار قیمتی بود و در درمان اغلب بیماریها بهویژه شکستگیها، کوفتگیها، درمان زخمها و غیره از آن استفاده و در باور مردم دارویی معجزهآسا تلقی میشد.
نتیجهگیری: برخی کاربردهای درمانی مومیا در درمان شکستگیها و زخمها، مشکلات گوارشی و سرطان پستان با آزمایشهای جدید علمی اثباتشده، ولی در یک نتیجه کلی باید گفت در قدیم درباره خواص درمانی آن بسیار غلو میشده است.
