Journal of Medical Figh (http://journalportal.research.ac.ir), affiliated to Medical Ethics and Law Research Center of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, is an open access interdisciplinary journal that has the scientific research rank with the approval of the Medical Sciences Journals Commission of the Islamic Republic of Iran since 2011/04/23. This journal has an impact factor (IF) based on the vote of the ninth meeting of the ISC Strategic Council dated 214/02/08. Medical Figh Journal is published annually and electronically.
Medical Figh is an interdisciplinary science that covers all jurisprudential issues related to the fields of prevention, treatment, medical health and research, nursing, midwifery and paramedical. This journal on the one hand, includes interdisciplinary studies that require various sciences such as jurisprudence, law, ethics and medicine to achieve real and useful results. On the other hand, it contains comparative studies, because the title of Figh refers to knowledge whose scope includes at least four jurisprudential systems among Sunnis (Hanafi Figh, Hanbali Figh, Maliki Figh, Shafi'i Figh) and Shiite Figh (Imamiyya jurisprudence).
