Editorial Team

The Editorial Team of Social Determinants of Health (SDH) is responsible for the day-to-day management of the journal and works closely with the Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Board, reviewers, authors, and the publisher to ensure the efficient, transparent, and ethical publication of high-quality scholarly research.

The Editorial Team supports every stage of the publication process, from manuscript submission to final publication, while maintaining the journal's commitment to scientific excellence, editorial independence, and research integrity.

Editor-in-Chief

The Editor-in-Chief has overall responsibility for the scientific quality and editorial direction of the journal.

Key responsibilities include:

• Defining the journal's editorial policies and strategic priorities.
• Making final editorial decisions on submitted manuscripts.
• Ensuring fairness, consistency, and transparency throughout the peer-review process.
• Upholding publication ethics and research integrity.
• Appointing Editorial Board members and editors, in consultation with the journal's owner where appropriate.
• Representing the journal within the international scientific community.

Editorial Office

The Editorial Office provides administrative support throughout the publication process.

Its responsibilities include:

• Receiving manuscript submissions.
• Assisting authors during submission.
• Coordinating communication with reviewers and editors.
• Monitoring manuscript progress.
• Maintaining publication records.
• Responding to general inquiries.
• Supporting production and publication activities.

The Editorial Office does not make editorial decisions regarding manuscript acceptance or rejection.
