The effectiveness of ACT treatment on improving psychological resilience, depression and Covid Anxiety 19 in immunocompromised patients receiving vaccine

Abstract
One of the most important consequences of psychological disorders is its effect on the functioning of the immune system. The immune system reacts and begins to function after the body is exposed to tissue damage or microbial infection. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of acceptance and commitment based therapy on improving psychological resilience, depression and corona anxiety in immunocompromised patients receiving vaccine. The statistical population of the study was all patients with immunodeficiency virus who referred to Tehran Behavioral Diseases Center in the period of June to October 2021. From the mentioned population, 40 people were selected according to the size of the population and were randomly divided into two groups of control and experimental (20 people in each group).
Data were analyzed using Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and analysis of covariance and SPSS software. The results showed that the treatment of acceptance and commitment was effective in improving psychological flexibility, coronary anxiety and depression in patients with immunodeficiency.
