All of manuscripts are initially evaluated by the journal’s editorial team for content compliance, value, novelty and suitability to be published (2 to 3 working days).

Then assessed by the section editor the manuscript's content with the journal's standards. If the authors do not follow the guidelines, the manuscript will be returned to them for revisions to ensure it meets the required standards.

At this stage, the decision could be to fast reject the manuscript, request revise and resubmit, or send it to external reviewers for a comprehensive evaluation process.

Then the manuscript undergoes internal reviews by the internal reviewers. If there is a need for an external reviewer is base on their scientific knowledge and experience, past research, recommendations from the authors, and specialized skills, the manuscript sent to appropriate reviewers to review it in their areas of expertise (3 to 4 working days).

The review process is “double anonymous peer-review”, meaning the author is unaware of the reviewers' identities, and also the reviewers do not know the author's identity.

Before sending the manuscript for peer-reviewing, a “plagiarism check” is conducted, using routine software and resources, and it is checked again for plagiarism before the galley proof is prepared.

All stages of the manuscript review until publication are considered “confidential” for the journal team.

The manuscript is sent to at least three peer-reviewers, and the peer-reviewers' responses are sent to the authors within a maximum of two weeks.

Authors have one week to respond to the peer-reviewers' comments. The alignment review is conducted by the editor-in-chief and the editorial team.
