Upon submission, authors retain copyright ownership of their published work. However, in alignment with the Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing, all content in the Journal of Otorhinolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery is published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).

This license grants users the following rights, provided proper citation is given:

1. Free, perpetual, and worldwide access to all published materials.
2. Copy, distribute, transmit, and display the work for non-commercial purposes.
3. Create and share derivative works in any digital format, as long as the same license terms are applied.

Commercial use requires explicit permission from the copyright holder (the author).
