Article Processing Charge (APC)

International Clinical Neuroscience Journal (ICNJ) is committed to ensuring unhindered global access to peer-reviewed scientific literature. To support the peer-review process, manuscript handling, copyediting, typesetting, online hosting, and archiving, the journal applies an open-access publication model.

Currently, the Functional Neurosurgery Research Center of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences covers a significant portion of the publication expenses to promote international scientific dissemination.

For accepted manuscripts, the applicable publication fees are determined according to the article type and submission date. Detailed fee structures, waiver policies, and payment instructions are communicated to the corresponding author upon formal acceptance by the editorial office.

Waiver Policy

The journal offers partial or full fee waivers for authors from low-income and lower-middle-income economies, as classified by the World Bank, as well as for independent researchers or students experiencing financial hardship. Authors wishing to request a waiver must submit a formal application to the editorial office prior to manuscript submission or during the initial submission stage. Requests received after article acceptance will not be considered.

Payment Methods

Once an article is accepted for publication, the corresponding author receives a secure invoice containing direct bank transfer instructions or authorized online payment gateways. Payments must be settled prior to final publication.

Refund Policy

Once an article has completed the peer-review process, undergone editorial production, and been published online, the APC is strictly non-refundable, as editorial and processing resources have already been utilized.
