Cell Therapy and Transplantation Reports (CTTR) is committed to maintaining high standards of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct throughout the editorial and publication process.
Authorship and Contributorship
Authorship should reflect substantial contribution to the work and responsibility for its content. All listed authors must approve the submitted and final versions of the manuscript and be accountable for the integrity of the work. Contributors who do not meet authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately. Guest, gift, and ghost authorship are not acceptable.
Conflicts of Interest and Funding
Authors must disclose relevant financial and non-financial competing interests and all sources of funding or support. Editors and reviewers should disclose conflicts that could affect their impartiality and, when appropriate, withdraw from handling or reviewing the manuscript.
Ethical Oversight
Research involving human participants, human tissues, cells, biological materials, or identifiable personal information must comply with applicable ethical standards and obtain appropriate ethics approval and informed consent where required. Research involving animals must comply with relevant ethical standards. CTTR may request documentation of ethics approval or consent when necessary.
Research Integrity
Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, inappropriate manipulation of data or images, duplicate publication, and other forms of research misconduct are unacceptable. Authors are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the research they submit.
Complaints and Appeals
CTTR considers complaints and appeals concerning editorial decisions, publication processes, and ethical issues in a fair and objective manner. Appeals should include a clear explanation and relevant supporting information. Where appropriate, matters may be handled in accordance with guidance from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Post-Publication Issues
When significant errors or ethical concerns are identified after publication, CTTR may publish a correction, retraction, Expression of Concern, or other appropriate editorial notice. The journal aims to preserve the transparency and integrity of the scholarly record.
Data Transparency
CTTR supports transparency and reproducibility. Authors should provide sufficient methodological and data information to support evaluation of their findings and, where appropriate, provide a Data Availability Statement. Legitimate restrictions related to confidentiality, privacy, ethics, or legal requirements should be clearly stated.
