Gastroenterology and Hepatology From Bed to Bench (GHFBB) is an open-access journal. In accordance with a new policy introduced by the journal administration, and with the aim of improving the quality and scope of services, and expediting the peer‑review process and issuance of final decisions, effective January 1, 2026, corresponding authors will be required to pay the publication fee detailed below. The publication fee, payable upon acceptance of an article, covers expenses related to article processing, technical infrastructure, operational costs, and other associated services.

The fees to be paid following the acceptance of an article are indicated below, from Jan 1, 2026:

• Please send your receipt as a scanned copy to the GHFBB office (via ghfbb.journal@gmail.com).
• The article acceptance fee is based on word count, with pricing varying accordingly. For more word count, extra charges will be requested.

Discounts and waivers

GHFBB is committed to supporting the transition of all research to being fully open access; therefore, we regularly offer APC waivers or discounts.

• Reviewers:

  • Any reviewer who completes the evaluation of 12 manuscripts will be entitled to publish one manuscript free of charge.

  • Reviewers who complete the evaluation of 2 manuscripts will receive a 10% discount on their next submission.

• Guest Editors:

  • A guest editor who successfully organizes a special collection will be entitled to publish one manuscript free of charge.

• Editorial Board Members:

  • Each editorial board member will be entitled to publish one manuscript free of charge annually.

• Invited Articles:

  • All invited manuscripts are considered free of charge.

Fast Review / Fast Track Processing

          The fast-track process option for manuscripts is available as per the authors' request, with extra charges (100,000,000 RLs or 1,000 USD).
