بررسی مرگ ومیر در بیماری کووید 19 با سن وجنس بیماران

چکیده
زمینه و هدف: مطالعه حاضر با هدف شناسایی تاثیر سن و جنس بر مرگ بیماران کووید-19 انجام شد. روش بررسی: در این مطالعه توصیفی 780 بیمار مبتلا به کووید 19 مراجعه کننده به بیمارستان بررسی و اطلاعات دموگرافیک شامل سن ، جنس و مرگ و میر احتمالی در هر دو جنس در دو گروه مجزا در پنج رده سنی (>15، 15 تا 34 ، 35 تا 54 ، 55 تا 74 و < 75 سال ) از سیستم بیمارستانی ثبت گردید. نتایج: از میان گروهای سنی بیشترین میزان مرگ و میر مربوط به گروه های سنی بالای 75 سال بود (38.7%) و بعد از آن گروه سنی 55-74 سال (23.1%) بیشترین میزان فوتی را شامل بود. هر چند میزان مرگ و میر در مردان بیشتر از زنان مشاهده شد ولی این اختلاف از نظر آماری معنی دار نبود (22.4% Vs . 19.0%; P-value=0.255. نتیجه گیری: عفونت با COVID-19 با مرگ و میر قابل توجهی به طور عمده در بیماران مسن و جنس مرد همراه است .این یافته ها می تواند به شناسایی بیماران مبتلا به کووید-19 که در معرض خطر بیشتر پیش آگهی ضعیف هستند کمک کند و پایش این عوامل می تواند به هشدارهای اولیه برای مداخلات مناسب کمک کند.
