Publication of an article in the International Journal of Medical Toxicology and Forensic Medicine (IJMTFM) is subject to an Article Processing Charge (APC). The corresponding author is responsible for payment of the APC after completion of the peer-review process and prior to the issuance of the formal acceptance letter.
There are no charges for manuscript submission, peer review, or editorial evaluation by the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board.
In addition to the Article Processing Charge (APC), IJMTFM does not impose any submission fees, page charges, or color charges. The fees to be paid following the acceptance of an article are indicated in the table below:
- Original and Review articles less than 3000 words 150,000,000 IR Rial (200 €)
- Case Report, Short Communication, Continuous Medical Education, less than 1500 words 80,000,000 IR Rial (95 €)
- Letter to Editor less than 1500 words 55,000,000 IR Rial (85 €)
- For every 500 words more than the defined limitation 16,000,000 IR Rial (23 €)
The International Journal of Medical Toxicology and Forensic Medicine (IJMTFM) is published as an open-access electronic journal. Therefore, there is no subscription fee for readers or audiences.
Authors, readers, and other interested individuals who wish to receive printed (hard) copies of all issues published during a calendar year may request an annual print subscription for a fee of 500 € per year.
The annual fee covers the printing and delivery of all issues of IJMTFM published during the respective calendar year.
The International Journal of Medical Toxicology and Forensic Medicine (IJMTFM) does not accept or publish commercial advertisements on its website or in its articles. The journal maintains a strict policy of keeping its editorial and scholarly content free from commercial advertising.
