JCRSR accepts the following types of submissions:

  1. General Formatting Requirements



  • Language: All submissions must be in English.

  • File Format: Submit manuscripts as a Word document (.doc or .docx).

  • Font: Use Times New Roman, 12-point font.

  • Line Spacing: Double-space the entire manuscript, including references.

  • Margins: 1-inch margins on all sides.

  • Page Numbers: Include page numbers in the bottom right corner.

  • Title Page: Include the title, authors' names, affiliations, and contact information.



  1. Manuscript Structure


Ensure your manuscript includes the following sections (as applicable):


Original Research Articles and Systematic Reviews



  1. Title: Concise and descriptive.

  2. Abstract: Structured (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion) and limited to 250 words.

  3. Keywords: 5–7 keywords for indexing.

  4. Introduction: Clearly state the research question and objectives.

  5. Methods: Describe the study design, participants, and procedures in detail.

  6. Results: Present findings clearly, using tables and figures where appropriate.

  7. Discussion: Interpret results, discuss implications, and compare with existing literature.

  8. Conclusion: Summarize key findings and their significance.

  9. References: Follow the citation style outlined below.


Clinical Case Reports



  1. Abstract: Unstructured, limited to 150 words.

  2. Introduction: Briefly describe the context and relevance of the case.

  3. Case Presentation: Provide detailed clinical information.

  4. Discussion: Highlight the case's unique aspects and clinical implications.

  5. Conclusion: Summarize key takeaways.

  6. References: Include relevant literature.



  1. References and Citations


JCRSR uses the Vancouver citation style. Follow these guidelines:



  • In-Text Citations: Number references consecutively in the order they appear in the text, using superscript numbers (e.g., "Previous studies have shown this effect.¹")

  • Reference List: At the end of the manuscript, list references in numerical order. Include all authors' names, article title, journal name (abbreviated according to Index Medicus), year, volume, issue, and page numbers.

  1. Tables and Figures



  • Tables: Number tables consecutively (e.g., Table 1, Table 2) and include a brief title above each table.

  • Figures: Submit high-resolution images (300 dpi or higher) in TIFF, JPEG, or PNG format. Include figure captions below each figure.

  • Permissions: Obtain permission to reproduce any copyrighted material.



  1. Ethical Considerations



  • Authorship: All authors must meet the ICMJE criteria for authorship.

  • Conflict of Interest: Disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

  • Ethical Approval: For studies involving human or animal subjects, provide proof of ethical approval from an institutional review board (IRB).

  • Informed Consent: Include a statement confirming informed consent for studies involving human participants.

  1. Register or log in to the JCRSR submission system.

  2. Upload your manuscript and supplementary files.

  3. Provide a cover letter summarizing the significance of your work.

  4. Suggest potential reviewers (optional but encouraged).



  1. Peer Review


All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process. Authors can expect initial feedback within 4–6 weeks of submission.



  1. Open Access and Licensing


JCRSR offers authors the option to publish their work as open access. Published articles are freely available under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), allowing others to share and adapt the work with proper attribution.
