بررسی رابطه جهتگیری مذهبی و سلامت روان در سالمندان

چکیده
مقدمه: با توجه به طولانیشدن عمر و افزایش جمعیت سالمندان، رسيدگي به سلامت روانی سالمندان، اهميت خاصي یافته است و لزوم بررسی نقش مذهب، به عنوان یک عامل درونی و بیرونی در سلامت روانی جمعیت حساس و رو به رشد سالمندان، احساس میشود، لذا مطالعه حاضر با هدف تعیین رابطه جهتگیری مذهبی و سلامت روان در سالمندان، انجام شد.
روش: این مطالعه مقطعی بر روی 389 نفر از سالمندان شهرستان بیرجند در سال 1393 انجام شد. افراد با استفاده از روش نمونهگیری چند مرحلهای وارد مطالعه شدند و دادهها با استفاده از پرسشنامه سلامت عمومی و پرسشنامه جهتگیری مذهبی آلپورت، به همراه سؤالات زمینهای جمعآوری گردید. دادهها پس از ورود به نرمافزار 18 SPSS با استفاده از آزمونهای من ویتنی و ضریب همبستگی اسپیرمن، در سطح معنیداری 0/05=α مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت.
یافتهها: میانگین سنی افراد مورد مطالعه 3/74±63/65 سال بود و بر اساس نتایج مطالعه، نمره جهتگیری مذهبی در افراد فاقد اختلال روانی به طور معنیداری بیشتر بود و بین جهتگیری مذهبی و سلامت روانی (0/589-=r) و زیرمقیاسهای آن شامل علائم جسمی (0/605-=r)، اضطراب (0/587-=r)، کارکرد اجتماعی (0/484-=r) و افسردگی (0/642-=r) ارتباط معنیداری وجود داشت (0/001<p).
بحث و نتيجه گيري: نتایج نشاندهنده ارتباط معنیدار بین جهتگیری مذهبی و سلامت روان در سالمندان میباشد و با افزایش جهتگیری مذهبی و درونیترشدن آن، سلامت روانی سالمندان بهبود مییابد. با توجه به روند سالمندی جمعیت در ایران و اهمیت سلامت روانی سالمندان، توجه بیشتر به نقش دین و جهتگیری مذهبی در برنامهریزی مداخلات برای جمعیت رو به سالمندی، ضروری به نظر میرسد.
