Abstract
Spontaneous pneumomediastinum is a rare condition, which is usually benign and self-limiting. Its main presentation is sudden retrosternal pain that may occur following valsalva maneuver, vomiting, frequent cough, heavy exercise, marijuana inhalation, trauma, and intubation. Given the low prevalence and importance of paying attention to spontaneous pneumomediastinum in screening patients presented to the emergency department with acute chest pain, here we will introduce a 17-year-old patient with chief complaint of chest pain and final diagnosis of spontaneous pneumomediastinum.- درد قفسه سینه؛ بخش اورژانس؛ پنومومدیاستینوم، تشخیصی؛ تشخیص افتراقی
